Yes! The photos do speak. I used to think that this proverb
is quite idealistic and is just for saying. It is not in practical life but
these photos clearly speak the sorrow and misery of people. It speaks the voice
of people who want a new and happy life. They want to be safe with their
family. These photos speak their love and feelings of the parents.

the flood
Nepal had been suffering a long from the terror of
earthquakes since 2072 B.S.. And from 3 days ago the terai as well as hilly
region has been suffering from the terror of Flood and Landslide. Most of the
rivers in terai have broken down their embankments which caused the loss of
life and property. 36 people have died already and the numbers are increasing.
The burning pain of the people can’t be hidden by the cold weather among the people. The painful tears of the people can’t be hidden by the rain.
Biratnagar, Itahari, Birtamode, Nijgadh, Butwal, Gauradaha
e.t.c. have been seriously affected . More or less all of the terai area has
been affected badly. Most of the schools and colleges are closed as the rain
hasn’t left them too.
Since 3 days earlier, Terai region has been receiving a lot of rain which has caused irreparable loss to the life and property in various districts. Due to heavy rain the major rivers and some small rivers has crossed its limit too. Some are going to cause flood whereas some have already started its destruction.

According to the experts, this is the cause of cloud burst in which it rains more than 100mm in an hour. Government has also declared High Alert in all districts of the terai region.
Sapta koshi Issue
As it rained heavily the saptakoshi river of Nepal has also
been badly affected and has crossed the level of danger. But due to some issues
, India hasn’t allowed to open the all doors of koshi which can cause huge loss
of life and property in Nepal as well as in some parts of India.
We hope both of the government will search for a solution to solve this issue ASAP.

What we hope and what can we do ?
We can sit and hope for the government to take effective
steps to minimize the effect of flood It’s
a natural disaster so it can be neither stopped nor be paused. But we
can minimize its effect. We can help to those in needs through various methods.
Whatever we can do we should never hesitate. One can distribute free clothes,
fooding and lodging facility. We can contact following groups for giving our
donations. Even your small attempt can help us to bring happiness in the face
of people.
